Motability
We are an independent garage covering Castle Douglas, Dalbeattie, Kirkcudbright and the surrounding Stewartry area. As a Motability Premier Service Agent we have two trained Motability After Sales Specialists based at the premises. We offer ‘while you wait’ servicing and MOT tests by appointment, and will wash and vacuum your car after a service, MOT test or any repairs. We will also provide you with a courtesy car, if you give us a minimum of three weeks advance notice. If the courtesy car is not suitable for your needs we will try to make other arrangements.
Unfortunately we can't carry out warranty work and you may have to take your car back to the manufacture to have that done.
What’s included in your service?
Services will usually include the following checks:
- Engine oil
- Windscreen washer fluid
- Engine cooling system
- Lights
- Tyre tread
- Tyre pressure - including the spare tyre
The service for each type of car will be different. Other checks for brake pads or filters, for example, will be looked at if it is recommended by the manufacturer.
If your supplying dealer hasn’t contacted you when a service is due, give us a call. You may get a Good Condition Bonus at the end of your lease if your car has been well looked after.
Where do I get the MOT test carried out.
At Robertson Gemini Ltd we are an approved garage covering Castle Douglas, Dalbeattie, Kirkcudbright and the surrounding Stewartry area, authorised to carry out MOT tests, with specialist testers trained to inspect vehicles to the highest standards.
The cost of the MOT is included in your worry-free Contract Hire lease (including where a lease has been extended). Remember, you will need to have an MOT completed before you hand the car back at the end of the agreement.
