Robertson Gemini Celebrates 100 Years in Business
100 years ago, in 1921 William Robertson set up Robertson's garage in Dalbeattie. A lot has changed in the world in that time and in the motor trade but some thing's haven't, Robertson's have always taken pride in our work and carry it out in a professional, honest manner, putting the customer and value for money at the forefront of our business. The business is still in the Robertson family, now run in it's third generation by Caroline Robertson and David Butler.

From starting up as a car repair business in Dalbeattie the company has moved with the times, eventually relocating to our current premises in Castle Douglas in 1993 under the stewardship of Stewart Robertson and changing the name to Robertson Gemini, a nod to Stewart and Caroline's twin sons Andrew and Jamie.

We now offer a 'one stop' shop for all your motoring needs, whether it's car sales, servicing, repairs, diagnostics, wheel alignment, air conditioning repairs or just a light bulb or wiper blade we can cover it all here. In 2016 we also invested heavily in Jaguar and Land Rover diagnostics and can now offer the same level of capability as main dealers can but at a fraction of the cost.

Unfortunately due to the Covid pandemic it's not how we had hoped it would be but during the course of the year we hope to be able to celebrate the occasion in some way. For now we are still open for all MOT, servicing and repairs. Car sales are a little bit more difficult but we can still do online and telephone sales and will hopefully be able to open back up to our full capacity again in the next few weeks.
In the mean time, thank you to all our customers for your continued support, especially during these unprecedented times, we look forward to seeing you all again as the company continues to grow and adapt to the ever changing world.
Here's to the next 100 years!
